The actions of Colombia’sAdministrative Department of Security, A.D.S., went beyond Colombia’s borders during Alvaro Uribe’s term of office. When Jorge Noguera, became leader of the secret intelligence police internationally known as DAS, he created a special group of agents to operate clandestinely in Venezuela, where the right-wing opposition cooperated with him to get rid of ex President Hugo Chavez.
