Generation Make: The Nine-Year-Old Who Wants To Stop Ebola

During the ebola epidemic, Mark Leschinsky watched the coverage on television. When he learned that, despite precautions, healthcare workers were still getting sick, he decided to make his own Hazmat suit. It releases a bleach solution onto the suit's surface to kill any lingering viruses. Mark's invention earned him a Thomas Edison Innovation award, and induction into the National Gallery of Young Inventors.
