Protecting Colombias largest national park | Global 3000

The Sustainable Development Goals are aimed at protecting the earth's natural resources, among other things by preserving the planet's forests. Colombia possesses some of the globe's greatest bio-diversity, and nowhere is it more evident than in the Chiribiquete National Park.But deforestation to benefit agriculture is threatening the region's unique spectrum of flora and fauna. A new pilot project aims to convince farmers that ecology and economic profit can go hand in hand.
