How do we use the prepositions at, on and in when talking about location? Use at when you are close to something. On when you are touching something, and in when you are surrounded by something.
And now for some examples.
At the car.
In the car
On the car.
At the museum.
In the museum.
At the shop.

On the street.

Wie verwenden wir die Präpositionen 'am/bei', 'auf' oder in im Deutschen, wenn wir über Orte reden:
Verwende 'am/bei', wenn Du in der Nähe von etwas bist.
'Auf', wenn Du 'oben' bist, also etwas zum Beispiel berührst.
Und 'in', wenn Du von etwas umgeben bist.
