Pizza Hut and Taco Bell will stop using artificial flavors and colors in its foods, according to a recent announcement.

Pizza Hut and Taco Bell will stop using artificial flavors and colors in its foods, according to a recent announcement. 
Examples from the Mexican-style chain include omitting yellow dye from its nacho cheese, blue coloring from its avocado ranch dressing, and a red pigment from tortilla strips. 
In addition, the black pepper flavoring in their beef mixture will be replaced with genuine black pepper. 
High fructose corn syrup and certain processed oils will also largely be phased out. 
Artificial preservatives will still be present but in reduced amounts.
