A man and a woman fatally shot two police officers and a woman before turning their weapons on themselves in Las Vegas on Sunday (June 8).
According to the NBC News, the shooting began at about 11:20 am local time on Sunday as two police officers were eating lunch at Cici's Pizza when they were ambushed by a man and a woman. One of the shooters reportedly yelled "This is a revolution" before opening fire at the officers, killing one of them instantly. The other officer managed to fire back at the duo before being hit and succumbing to his injuries. The officer died later in surgery at University Medical Center.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the two assailants then stripped the officers of their weapons and ammunition before covering the officers with a yellow banner featuring a coiled snake, above the words, "Don't tread on Me" that resembles the Gadsden flag. The duo then left the pizza restaurant and went to a nearby Walmart.

At the Walmart, the male shooter reportedly shouted "everyone get out" before he started shooting. A woman was shot and killed just inside the front doors, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Police officers then entered the store and exchanged fire with the assailants before they fled further inside the store. The female shooter then reportedly shot her accomplice before shooting herself in the head.

According to Fox News, the two suspects are believed to be a married couple who were in possession of white supremacist paraphernalia and spoke of targeting police officers.
