A new map created by Fixr.com shows the most searched for cost for a good or service by each state.

A fascinating map shows the most searched for cost for a product or service by state.

It was created by local business listing service Fixr.com by Googling “how much does an ‘asterisk’ cost” in a certain location--either the state or a major city--and letting the autocomplete feature fill in the blank.

Some of the states reflect their image stereotypes such as people in California looking for facelifts and Colorado for weed.
