Celebrities awarded on New Year Honours list

It's that time of the year when Britain recognises some of the great and good in the New Year Honours list.
And there's some big names from the acting world picking up awards this year.
'The English Patient' star Kristin Scott Thomas - who's due to play the Queen in stage play 'The Audience' - is now a Dame.
She's not the only big star who can call themselves a Dame as 'Dynasty' actress Joan Collins has also been given the title.
'Alien' star John Hurt is now a Knight - which means he'll be able to put 'sir' in front of his name from now on.
And in a strong year for actors - 'Breaking the Waves' actress Emily Watson has been given an OBE as has James Corden.
The award marks a successful end to the year for Corden, who can currently be seen in the new Disney movie 'Into The Woods'.
