Video captures fur protesters being doused with bleach by rooftop fur vendors

A small anti-fur protest on a stylish Soho street in downtown Manhattan.

The protesters don't know what's about to hit them...

Three fur vendors threw bleach and ammonia on the protesters from a rooftop six stories up.

The liquid hit four people and a baby stroller.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) FUR VENDOR, SAYING:

"They've been harassing us for two months. They come here week after week, threatening us and cursing at us, and they're not here to protest, they're here to stalk, harass, and they threaten to put us out of business."

It happened December 20 just when the sidewalks were busy with holiday shoppers.

When an officer who saw it all happen entered the building, he found two of the fur vendors in the staircase with empty bottles that smelled of bleach.

More empty bottles were found on the rooftop.

The men were arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and harassment.
