Mariah Carey “Elusive Chanteuse” World Tour Kicks Off On Bad Notes

Mariah Carey’s “Elusive Chanteuse” world tour kicked off on Saturday in Tokyo on a bad note — actually, several bad notes.

The legendary singer seemed to struggle through her classic, “Always Be My Baby,” having difficulty hitting the higher notes.

It seemed like very little went right during the first show in Japan.

Carey can be heard in video (below) telling cameramen they were in the wrong area during that song.

And at another point, while singing “We Belong Together,” the superstar notes even her microphone stand isn’t work properly, before adding, “I can’t go on.”
