WTA Beijing: Ivanovic bt Lisicki (6-3 7-5)

Ana Ivanovic beat Sabine Lisicki in the third round of the China Open, and was granted a walkover to the semi-finals after last eight opponent Simona Halep withdrew from the tournament through injury.
