On Monday, residents in Wyoming Valley paid their respects to a special man. Friends and relatives of Kevin McGroarty from West Pittston will tell you he was an exceptionally funny man and now people around the world agree thanks to his obituary that has since gone viral.

His surprisingly upbeat obituary has a few noteworthy quotes including "Never stick a steak knife in an electrical outlet" and "It costs nothing to be nice". He also left behind a cautionary warning for his friends which noted "Please, don't email me, I'm dead."

McGroarty wrote his own obituary right before he passed away on July 22nd at the age of 53.

McGroarty does not have any children who he leaves behind, or as he points out, no kids that he knows of. He mentioned having a few gripes with life though.

One of which is the government messing up the Bugs Bunny cartoons by attempting to sensor violence and his inability to start a revolution that would lower the price of Hershey’s chocolate to 35 cents because he was too distracted by gorgeous women.
