During a San Diego Comic Con panel, Kevin Bacon weighed in on the rules of the game ‘Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon’ and gave those in attendance a leg up in the competition.
During a 2014 Comic-Con International: San Diego panel, Kevin Bacon weighed in on the rules of the ‘Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon’ and gave those in attendance a leg up in the game.
The goal of the diversion is to associate any given actor with Kevin Bacon in six steps, continually closing the gap with their costars.
One attendee of the panel inquired if her personally asking him a question made her a legitimate connector for ‘Six Degrees’ purposes.
He said no on the technicality that involvement in a film was a requirement but didn’t leave it at that.
Bacon got up and took video of himself and the entire crowd as a means of establishing each of them a link in the Kevin Bacon chain.
Of course, each of audience members will also have to get video of themselves with another film or television star to make it work. They were already at Comic-Con, where the pickings are lush, so the opportunity was there.
