Israel presses on with Gaza offensive

Hamas armed fighters launch rockets towards Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv.

Dozens run for cover in buildings close to the Strip.

This, as Israel presses on with a Gaza offensive, intended to halt rocket fire at its cities.

In Thursday's pre-dawn raid, Palestinian officials said air strikes killed eight members of a family including five children.

It's part of a mounting death toll they say has reached over 66.

Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah:

(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) PALESTINIAN PRIME MINSTER RAMI HAMDALLAH, SAYING:

"What the government of the Israeli occupation is doing, air striking civilians, children in their homes is a war crime par excellence. This is contravention with all laws and international regulations, most notably the Geneva Convention."

Despite threats, some Gaza residents are living without fear.
