Angelina Jolie arrived in London to promote her new film "Maleficent", but the Hollywood actress also used the event at Kensington Palace on Thursday (May 8) to renew her plea for the safe return of more than 200 kidnapped Nigerian school girls who were taken by an Islamist group.
The actress and her partner, Brad Pitt met with fans along the premieres arrival line.
Her latest film is touted as a modern take on Disney's 1959 "Sleeping Beauty" classic.
"Maleficent" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 28.
Katy Perry is also on the move, with the pop singer performed the first night of her Prismatic World Tour on Thursday (May 8), opening in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Perry played multiple tracks from her latest album, 'Prism', alongside hits including 'Teenage Dream' and 'Kissed a Girl.'
The Prismatic World Tour is Perry's third concert tour, in support of her fourth studio album, 'Prism'.
