Mummified Body Found in Garage of Foreclosed Home

A woman who lived in a house located on Savanna Drive was recently found deceased in the garage of that same residence. The lady had been dead for several years and the home is going into foreclosure.

A woman who lived in a house located on Savanna Drive was recently found deceased in the garage of that same residence. The lady had been dead for several years and the home is going into foreclosure.
One neighbor reported that she hadn’t seen the woman for six years. Another resident said that there had been no activity whatsoever inside the house for about 3 years.
The general assumption among everyone who lived close by was that the lady moved away. The woman’s mummified body was found by a contractor. It was in the backseat of her Jeep Liberty which had been parked in the garage.
The victim, who is from Germany, was reportedly in her 40s and worked for an automaker. Neighbors claimed she traveled quite a bit for work and ‘kept to herself’ when she was home.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department has launched an investigation into her death. An autopsy couldn’t be performed right away, as her remains were frozen to the interior of the Jeep.
