Man Throws Temper Tantrum Over Desire Not to Wash Dishes

A 23-year-old male in Murfreesboro, Tennessee got into a verbal argument with his mother over the job of washing dishes. According to reports, the unidentified man didn’t want to do them, but his mother insisted, even swiping his phone charger and refusing to give it back until the plates were clean.
In some cases, even full grown children have trouble taking on responsible duties. Take doing dishes… nobody really enjoys it, but one man’s dislike for the task landed him, no pun intended, in some hot water.
The 23-year-old male in Murfreesboro, Tennessee got into a verbal argument with his mother over the job of washing dishes. According to reports the unidentified man didn’t want to do them, but his mother insisted, even swiping his phone charger and refusing to give it back until they plates were clean.
From that point on things got hostile. The man had an all out temper tantrum, throwing around dinnerware and slamming the dishwasher shut, causing damage.
The 41-year-old mother claimed her son chased her through the house, scaring her so much, she ran into her bedroom to get away. The man forced his way into the room and reportedly pinned his own mother against the door.
The woman was fortunately able to call police. Her son attempted to leave the home prior to officers’ arrival, but his car wouldn’t start. Cops later removed the male from the home.
While no one was injured during the family fight, the hesitant dish washer may face charges of domestic assault.
