ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
All four crew members were killed when their U.S. military helicopter crashed in rural eastern England, the U.S. Air Force said on Wednesday.
"What happens now, we have an interim safety board out there now, their job is to look at the site, preserve all the evidence, take extensive photographic documentation, where it is on the scene, that will prove invaluable later," said Colonel Kyle Robinson, 48th Fighter Wing Commander.
"We will bring in a separate team from other bases that will convene here and that will be the investigation board. They will then take all the data they have collected and they will then use analysis that they can do both here at Lakenheath and at other specialized centers throughout the United States and around the world to help determine the cause of what happened."
The helicopter, a Pave Hawk assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing based at the air base RAF Lakenheath, was performing a low-level training miss
