Workers from the Franco-American group Alcatel-Lucent sent a strong message to management over proposed job cuts with a protest march in Paris.
The telecommunications-equipment maker plans to slash 10,000 jobs worldwide with the prospect of 900 disappearing in France. The demonstration came as Alcatel-Lucent's managing director warned on French radio the company could disappear.
