Srihari was born in balanagar, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. He worked as a mechanic in a small mechanic shed in front of shobana theater. He started his career as a stunt fighter. After some years, he was introduced by well-known director Dasari Narayana Rao in 1986. His first movie as a hero was Police. His movie was the best opening ever for small budget films in the 1990s. He entered in Telugu film industry in 1993. He is well known as SHER KHAN of TELUGU Films after his iconic role in Telugu film Magadheera.
On October 09, 2013, Actor Srihari, who had been suffering from a liver ailment for some time breathed his last in Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, India. He was 49 years old. On the sets of his new Hindi film R... Rajkumar,directing by Prabhudeva, he was complaining of pain and later died at the hospital.
