Wealth is less equitably distributed in Germany than ever before. The past ten years have seen the richer get richer, while the poor got poorer. Nonetheless, there are some wealthy Germans with a social conscience who want to give their money to good causes. The question of wealth and social equity is sure to be a major topic in next year's general elections.
