Officially, the Social Democrats say they're going to wait to name their candidate for chancellor in the 2013 Bundestag election. But grass roots party members are unhappily demanding to know who it will be: Steinmeier, Steinbrück oder Gabriel. At this stage, no member of the so-called troika has a chance of unseating Chancellor Angela Merkel.
