George Clooney presents West Wing producer John Wells with star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

You might not recognise him - but it's this man we have to thank for shows like The West Wing and China Beach - and this week John Wells' place in history was secured.
Beaming under the spotlight the producer and director received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
George Clooney - a man you should recognise - was there to present the honour.

''How's this look back here, ok? I don't want to say too much, but formerly two times sexiest man alive!''
Jokes aside George worked with John on medical drama ER and was full of praise.

"All together it's a tremendous body of work and the reason that he is so deserved of this star on the Walk of Fame, but what the star won't tell you is about his character: it's a quality that those lucky enough to know him, those of us lucky enough to know him, find to be his greatest achievement."
Wells has plenty of thank-yous to various people - all of whom he said were represented by the star.

"Too many names to really mention, but this is a star that I'm proud to have my name on, but it represents all of us, hundreds of us, doing this work for over two and a half decades now."
