When you place your flower order it is probably assumed that some of those flowers will be imported, and on a normal basis that is never an issue. If we run into weather problems and when flowers are coming from Europe or New Zealand or the Far East, that can be an issue.
You have to be prepared for possible substitutions at the last minute. And your florist should tell you those things before hand and make substitutions that are equally as beautiful as the flowers you originally ordered. It does not happen often but just keep in the back of your mind that it can happen.
