Charlie Chaplin - The Tramp (1915) Essanay Comedies

Charlie Chaplin's The Tramp (1915) I believe from the "Chaplin's Essanay Comedies Volume 2" dvd... no copyright infrigement intended... as I do not own this, but the Chaplin estate/Essanay does... either that or it is public domain. It is complete, not cut off by the ending and it has great quality, sound and video wise, and has the atmospheric tinting coming up in the latter half found in this version. The Tramp marked the beginning of Chaplin's iconic character most known today, even though Chaplin played The Tramp in earlier films. This film marked the first departure from his more (almost strictly) slapstick character in the earlier films, with a sad ending and showing he cared for others, rather than just himself. Enjoy this early silent masterpiece by the great Charlie Chaplin in the best and most correct version!
