Polytheism (Elohim, YHWH and Yahweh) in the Bible

God clearly refers to himself as us early on in the Bible. This could just be the Royal We but it also opens up the door to the possibility of a number of Gods. Gods tells us these other Gods are fake but it does raise the question of why the Jews got to have a real God and their enemies (Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites) only had fake ones? Why would an all powerful God leave these people godless? Maybe they did have their own gods defending them but God was just that bit tougher? Of course, Jesus made it clear that God is the God of everyone now and His early racism should be swept under the carpet.
