In your cPanel hosting screen select the MySQL Databases icon in the Databases section. To create a database, type the database name in the New Database box and select Create Database. The database has been created.

Select Go Back to add and create a user to this database. In the Add New User section, type the new user Username, enter a password and re-enter the password and then select Create User. A display will appear verifying the new user.

Select Go Back to link the new user to the database. In the Add User to Database section, select Submit.

In the MySQL Account Maintenance page, select to assign All Privileges to the user, and select Make Changes. The user has been added to the database.
