Genital warts are a very common form of STD today. As a matter of fact these warts are the most common STD that infect the population. This condition cannot be left untreated and is very, very contagious. You may think it can only be contracted by having sex with an infected person, but the truth is that just coming into contact with any affected area (includes unwashed hands that have touched genital warts) you run the risk of contracting HPV which is the most common factor in this STD. There are some genital warts symptoms you should be aware of even though they take time to present and are not obvious initially. Once this condition has progressed after being infected genital warts symptoms can include the following: 1. Raised bumps (soft tissue) that can be gray or flesh-toned and can be spread around in different spots in or on the genitalia or all together that can appear like a cauliflower shape 2.
