Cowell tells Charlie Sheen 'to pipe down'

Simon Cowell has apparently recommended that Charlie Sheen stops feeling sorry for himself and works through his problems.

When questioned about the actor's contractual disputes with Two and a Half Men executives, the X Factor mogul said that the public should be focusing on bigger events. He said: "The world is a messy place right now."

Cowell added: "I would say stop feeling sorry for yourself. I genuinely would. There's a lot of people worse off than you are and you should sort it out yourself."

Sheen is currently capitalising on his notoriety with online show Sheen's Corner in which he debates current affairs and his opinions.

Sheen is also planning on visiting Haiti with actor Sean Penn in order to focus media attention on the situation there.
