Robert Guelpen is an engineer who spent eight years developing motors for Mercedes. Since 1999 he's been making luxury model cars. At a real-life ratio of 1:24 or 1:18, the models are 20 to 30 centimeters high. And they cost around 20,000 euros ($27,000) apiece.
