World’s Tallest and Smallest Men Meet

Now this is something you don't see everyday – the world’s tallest and shortest men meeting for the first time. Well in Turkey, that just happened at a rather interesting event.
The world's tallest man, Sultan Kosen, met with the world's shortest, He Pingping in Istanbul on Thursday. They promoted the launch of the Guinness World Records Live Roadshow.

"I am really happy because I met with him. I was looking forward to this moment."
Pingping stands 2.4 feet, while Kosen is a staggering 8.1 feet.
Kosen said that he already calls the rest of world as short. But Pinping made quite an impression on Kosen and joked about his height.

Kosen was proclaimed as the world’s tallest man by Guinness World Records last September. He Pinging from China was also proclaimed as the world’s shortest man.
