Despite the illogical credits of this recording, this appears to be a Selvin session. Originally a violinist, Ben Selvin probably made more records than any other bandleader from the late 1910's through the 1930's. After his recording career he remained active in record business as artistic director till the 1960's. This great record was made in 1928. The uncredited vocalist sounds like Irving Kaufman.
