Greg Sestero played the dude who was Tommy's best friend in the flick -- he was on the receiving end of Tommy's infamous "Oh, hi Mark" line -- and he told us if Francis' movie is being compared to their flick, he's most likely got magic on his hands.

00:18 and I think we captured it during that time.

00:21 And then of course with the disaster artists,

00:24 But hey, I think, you know, sequel

00:26 or maybe Broadway musical could be really interesting

00:29 or a disaster artists spin-off TV series.
