It was a day that wasn't very typical for any sort of tornadic activity. A little bit different
00:06
when we talk about severe weather that does damage there, but still a very interesting
00:11
site. Nonetheless, all quiet right now across the Keystone State, maybe a sprinkle or two into
00:17
I think that's northern Schuylkill County, but for the most part things are fairly quiet.
00:22
You can see some of that shower activity working its way through Canada into some of the northern
00:26
tier of the northeast, the Adirondacks in northern New England, but the rain is staying away, which
00:31
we could use a little bit more of because we've had a lot of rain. In fact, we've had enough rain
00:35
to keep the drought monitor from any shade of color across the northeast. By and large as a
00:40
whole, we are really talking about what's been a weather trend through the beginning of April,
00:45
then we dried out a little bit towards the end, then we saw another weather trend here as we get
00:50
into the start of May and more rain on tap for your Tuesday. That's going to be just the story
00:56
that we're dealt with. You can see the showers, thunderstorms just about everywhere. However,
01:01
Boston, the dry spot, if you will. Boston to Providence, that's where you're going to have
01:05
the brightest weather as we head through tomorrow and the brief break there. Notice Wednesday,
01:10
still pretty wet for a good slice of the northeast, most of us dealing with the chance for
01:15
showers and thunderstorms. So there's that boundary up into Canada. It's still there tomorrow morning,
01:19
and then the new low pushing in out of Kentucky, Ohio into western Pennsylvania. That actually
01:25
spits up some energy into the Atlantic, so there's going to be two storm systems that really develop.
01:30
One in the Atlantic, that low pressure system moving off the coast of New Jersey. The other
01:34
spinning up over Kentucky and West Virginia, and that'll drive some wet weather right through
01:39
the middle of the week.
