00:04 Now this is an interesting conversation

00:06 because if you're looking for strictly just outfield help,

00:08 I think there's other ways to go,

00:10 but a lot of times people draft independent of position,

00:13 throw someone down in the utility spot.

00:15 Lars Neutbar, your thoughts.

00:17 - Yeah, I think this is an intriguing player where,

00:21 you know, if you look at what's starting to pick up recently

00:25 I know on the year, the numbers are not good.

00:27 Like I get it.

00:28 You look at him, he's hitting under 200 for the year.

00:30 Well, he does have three homers and two steals.

00:32 So this is a player that does have power and speed, right?

00:35 So what are we looking for?

00:36 We're looking for a bit of a turnaround.

00:37 Here's a fun fact.

00:38 Over the last seven days, 318 batting average, 400 OBPs,

00:43 636 lugging, 1036 OPS.

00:47 That rings like a player who is, again,

00:49 after an injured opening to the season,

00:51 which I think we can equate to some of the poor play

00:54 that we saw from Lars Neutbar.

00:58 Lars Neutbar, I think,

00:59 wasn't he the basest for Scorpions in the 80s?

01:02 I'm pretty sure.

01:04 But Lars Neutbar, a player that is starting to get hot

01:07 and even the people who have him rostered

01:09 might not realize it.

01:11 So when you're making a trade

01:13 and you get a throw in piece back,

01:14 you need an extra outfielder,

01:15 Lars Neutbar might be that guy

01:17 that could be a really good return.

01:18 He's got power, he's got speed.

01:20 He can hit for a bit of average.

01:21 I do think he's gonna continue to play

01:22 in this Cardinals lineup every day.

01:24 And I think Neutbar is a player

01:25 where there's more upside to come

01:27 and you can justify the slow start

01:29 based on he didn't have that normal entry into the season

01:33 because of the injury.

01:34 So now you're getting a guy who's finally,

01:36 I think, getting ramped up again.

01:38 And if the last week is any indication,

01:39 things are going in the right direction.

01:40 And eventually this Cardinals offense will be better

01:43 'cause frankly, it can't get worse.
