Residents across several states began the heartbreaking task of picking up the pieces of their lives after tornadoes left them with significant storm damage. This is the worst I've ever seen it here. We've been here 10 years. I'm originally from Alabama, so I've seen I've seen some big tornadoes. Tennessee was especially hit hard Wednesday with reports of deaths and injuries.

The powerful storms left many areas with flash flooding down trees and power outages. Honestly, we just thought it was cool because like we never really had tornadoes around around this area. On top of that, we never really get bad storms either. Thursday crews were out restoring electricity and surveying damage across affected areas. In some communities, it could take up to a week to get a fire extinguisher.
