00:00From my view, it was more than just one factor.
00:03Obviously, when you make this kind of change,
00:05when you dismiss a coach, especially after two seasons,
00:09is not just really one factor.
00:10I think it's a multitude of factors.
00:12One, it's just kind of how the season played out.
00:14You know, you come into the season,
00:15especially coming out of last year's season,
00:19you know, making the appearance in the Western Conference
00:21Finals with, you know,
00:24seemingly genuine championship aspirations,
00:27and they got off to a decent enough start,
00:29but, you know, between all the lineup changes
00:33and how that may have rubbed some guys the wrong way,
00:36the inconsistency with some rotations and lineups
00:39and, you know, the friction, if you want to call it that.
00:43I think that's the best way I can think of within the locker
00:45room and, I guess, in response and reaction
00:48to some of those changes, to some of those inconsistencies,
00:50while also understanding injuries.
00:52Like, I think Anthony Davis even said it himself,
00:55paraphrasing, not an exact quote,
00:57but there are moments where they don't know
00:58what they're doing, that definitely hurt.
01:00And then even the aftermath of that situation
01:02where Anthony Davis said what he said,
01:04and then, you know, Darvin seemingly,
01:09you know, just he even, I think he even said
01:11he agreed to disagree with Anthony Davis
01:13after that instead of just killing it
01:14or saying, like, you know, I understand what he's saying,
01:16but, you know, going a different route,
01:18basically, you know, going against what Anthony Davis said,
01:21you know, the star, one of the star players of the team,
01:24and that likely didn't help his case either.
