00:00 It has finally been passed in Congress and now signed into law by the president.
00:04 The long fought for bill to fund the defense of our allied nations.
00:08 The majority of the funding will go to Ukraine, some $61 billion.
00:12 And President Biden did not mince words with regards to what that money is really for.
00:17 You know, Putin started this war believing he could easily break the will of the people of
00:21 Ukraine. When that failed, he changed his strategy a little bit, thinking we could break the,
00:26 break the will of NATO, break the will of the United States, break our will.
00:30 Well, he's failed again. America stands with our friends. We stand up against dictators.
00:36 We bow to no one, to no one, certainly not Vladimir Putin.
00:41 This all comes as fighting in Ukraine heats up again, with Russia continually striking cities
00:46 around the defending nation. Meanwhile, Ukraine has begun hitting back with drone attacks on key
00:51 Russian owned oil depots. The bill also included a billion dollars in aid for Gaza as Israel's
00:56 blitzkrieg continues in the Middle East. However, perhaps more controversially,
01:01 $26 billion from the aid package will be going directly to Israel and the IDF.
01:06 My commitment to Israel, I want to make clear again, is ironclad.
01:09 The security of Israel is critical. It will always make sure Israel has what it needs to
01:15 defend itself against Iran and terrorists it supports.
