मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो केंद्र सरकार जल्द एक फैसला करने की तैयारी में है, जिसमें खांसी-जुकाम और बुखार जैसी साधारण दवाओं की बिक्री के लिए किसी तरह के मेडिकल लाइसेंस की जरूरत नहीं होगी। इसके लिए सरकार OTC यानी Over The Counter दवा नीति लाने पर विचार कर रही है। जिसके लिए सरकार ने एक समिति का गठन भी कर दिया है, जो इस फैसले के संबंधित सभी पहलुओं पर चर्चा के बाद अपनी रिपोर्ट केंद्र सरकार को सौंपेगी।
According to media reports, the Central Government is preparing to take a decision soon, in which no medical license will be required for the sale of simple medicines like cough, cold and fever. For this, the government is considering bringing OTC i.e. Over The Counter medicine policy. For which the government has also constituted a committee, which after discussing all the aspects related to this decision, will submit its report to the Central Government.
