In the first part of this series we meet the owners of Amy's Baking Company in Scottsdale Arizona couple Samy and Amy. They are having issues with people leaving negative reviews on Yelp. The issue being Amy feels she needs to respond to every negative comment countering it with even more negativity. They reach out to Kitchen Nightmares for help to confirm their food is perfect, meaning Yelpers are conspiring to run the couple out of business. The filming crew visits the restaurant to make an audition tape. Once accepted on the show, the production crew set up in the restaurant the night before Chef Gordon Ramsay is set to arrive. We watch the disaster of an evening take place as food is slow to leave the kitchen and the owners lose any cool they ever had on multiple customers. Chef Ramsay shows up the next day and tries the food before telling the couple he would be returning that evening to observe dinner service.
