A Hong Kong schoolgirl Sara Ho Yuk-ling (蔡卓妍 Charlene Choi Cheuk-yin) is raped by her stepfather and decides to leave town when she realizes her mother chooses to stand by and watch silently. Sara spends the next year homeless and working the streets, until middle aged man, Kam Ho-yin (任達華 Simon Yam Tat-wah) offers her a second chance at education, this time in a Band 1 school.

Both of them aren’t sure if he is just a sugar-daddy or there’s more to it. This is mostly about socially frowned-upon love that convinces the individuals it will be hopeless.
