00:00 When you look at what the Country Music Association
00:03 has been, the integrity of it throughout its whole existence
00:08 and in the history of all of the stars
00:14 that have, their lives have changed on that stage.
00:18 And I think about it as a kid when I watched
00:22 and I think about it the first time I got up there
00:25 to perform a song, it was one of the highlights
00:28 of my career, so I think when you move to Nashville
00:31 to be a country music singer and you start going
00:36 to the CMA Awards and then getting the chance to perform,
00:43 I mean, there's really no bigger stage
00:45 for a country music singer.
00:47 And then when you look at what's done with CMA Music Fest
00:52 and how they've just grown that through the years,
00:56 I mean, it's just something to be really proud
00:58 to be associated with.
00:59 It's just like this real kind of elegant night
01:04 of really honoring country music
01:07 and honoring the old stars, the new stars,
01:10 and watching country music still grow onward and upward.
01:15 I'm just having so much fun and doing my deal
01:18 and doing shows and trying to perform every night
01:23 as best I can and make good albums
01:26 and find good songs and write good songs
01:28 and then poof, 30 number ones.
01:31 And it's been a ride.
01:33 I've loved every second of it.
01:35 I mean, I really can say I'm not like one of these people
01:40 that are just like, "Ugh, I don't," you know.
01:42 I really have enjoyed the whole ride
01:44 to get to 30 number ones.
