$24 million fine for charging insurance premiums to dead people

Financial services giant AMP has been fined 24-million dollars for charging life insurance premiums to customers it knew to be dead. The federal court has ordered AMP life insurance to pay 18-million dollars and AMP financial planning to pay six-million dollars.
