Tea for two (1950) HD

Storyline: Jimmy Smith, a magazine impresario, manages to convince his young and very rich ex-girlfriend, Nanette, to finance a new magazine, of which she will be the protagonist. But when the girl asks her uncle and guardian for the twenty-five thousand dollars needed, she firmly refuses. She Nanette believes she can turn her position by making a bet with her uncle, which she wins; but in this way Nanette only manages to discover the sad truth. We are in 1929, while the economic life of the flourishing North American republic is shaken by a terrible storm, her uncle has recklessly invested his niece's billions and fears that everything is lost. The fate of the magazine also seems to be definitively compromised, and is saved at the last minute by the feminine skills of Pauline, Nanette's secretary, who manages to win the heart and wallet of a rich lawyer. In the end everything has a happy ending; the financial crisis is over, the stock market recovers, the young billionaire marries her beloved musician, the magazine is completely successful.
