A Russian warplane is seen buzzing an American jet in terrifying scenes this week.
Footage shows a Russian Su-35 "maneuvered unprofessionally" in coalition airspace over Syria on Tuesday (18 April).
The U.S. Ninth Air Force (Air Forces Central) has revealed declassified footage of the unsafe interaction.
They explain: "On April 18, 2023, U.S. Air Force fighter aircraft took off from air bases in the region and intercepted the Russian fighter.
"During the intercept, the Russian pilot maneuvered unprofessionally within 2,000 feet of U.S. aircraft, violating standing deconfliction protocols."
It comes as tensions remain high over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
