University of Hawaii researchers look at deadly heat waves caused by global warming.
The conclusion is clear: if greenhouse gas emissions greenhouse gas emissions do not decrease, 74% of the human population is expected to die of heat within 80 years.
Tropical areas would be the first victims because of the humidity and temperatures that are already very high.
These regions would then be unlivable for the Man.
But the big cities would not be spared either.
According to the study, by 2100, New York City could have about 50 days of potentially deadly heat, 40 days for Los Angeles, 20 days for Sydney...
The situation would be even more critical in cities such as Orlando (Florida) and Houston (Texas) with over 90 days of life-threatening heat.
