Is Diablo Immortal's Gameplay Worth Your Time? (or money?)

So Diablo Immortal released into the PC Beta on Thursday, over the course of the past 2 days, I've played a decent amount of it to get a good feel for the core game, and even take a look at the monetization model.
I wanted to give it a fair shake both as a game, and look a bit more critically at the monetization - so the video is somewhat split in half - with game first, and monetization second.
