Samples are gathered from the old trees and propagated into separate saplings.
Once the trees are mature enough to survive in the wild, they are planted in groves with other plants to strengthen the genetic pool and help the forest by cleaning the air and soil, controlling erosion and runoff, and providing a habitat for wildlife.
