Housing officers from Castles & Coasts Housing Association joined Cllr Claire Rowntree, deputy leader of Sunderland City Council and residents from Gelt Crescent to help tidy up the area.

The housing association teamed up with Cllr Rowntree and residents to fund a free waste skip for residents to dispose of any waste they have and the organising of a community tidy-up day targeting some of the worst-affected green spaces and back lanes.
