Ravi Tandon, father of Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and a well-known film director of his time, passed away on Friday at 3.30 am at his Mumbai home. He was 87 years old. In his spare time, he used to hum songs of Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh. Tandon says that during college, we used to do some mischief too. Ravi was straight. That's why he had to be a victim of the anger of the professor of that era. IPTA's National Joint Secretary Dilip Raghuvanshi says that film director Ravi Tandon was also very attached to IPTA. He shared the theater several times with IPTA. Raghuvanshi explains that his behavior was quite simple and gentle. After leaving from here, due to the hectic life of Mumbai, his arrival in Agra was very less. He met her around 1970.

बॉलीवुड एक्ट्रेस रवीना टंडन के पिता और अपने जमाने के जाने-माने फिल्म निर्देशक रहे रवि टंडन का शुक्रवार को तड़के 3.30 बजे अपने मुंबई स्थित घर पर निधन गया। वे 87 साल के थे। बताया जा रहा है कि रवि टंडन पिछले कुछ समय से बीमार चल रहे थे। आगरा के माइथान से मुंबई तक के छह दशक के सफर के पड़ाव में फिल्म निर्देशक और अभिनेत्री रवीना टंडन के पिता रवि टंडन के निधन की खबर ने ताजनगरी के लोगों की आंखें नम कर दी। जैसे ही शहर को शुक्रवार की सुबह यह दुखद समाचार मिला तो उनके दशकों पुराने दोस्त, रिश्तेदार पुराने ख्यालों में खो गए। किसी ने कहा हंसमुख इंसान हमें छोड़कर चला गया, तो किसी ने कहा कि रवि मेरे दिल में हमेशा जिंदा रहेगा। 1960 से पहले माइथान में रहने वाले फिल्म निर्देशक रवि टंडन की माइथान की गलियों में बल्लेबाजी की याद किसी को रुला गई, तो छात्र जीवन में उनके सखा रहे उनकी बातें कर भावुक हो उठे। इतना ही नहीं, मोहल्ले में घर के पास रहने वाले उनके दोस्त को माइथान की गली में क्रिकेट खेलना याद आ गया। फिल्म निदेशक रवि टंडन के साथ आगरा कॉलेज में पढ़ने वाले एसजी टंडन बताते हैं कि रवि काफी मस्त रहता था। आगरा कॉलेज में होने वाले किसी भी कार्यक्रम में रवि टंडन रंगमंच पर प्रस्तुति देकर कई बार छात्र-छात्राओं का दिल जीत चुके थे। उनका कहना था कि रवि को गानों का काफी शौक था। खाली समय में मोहम्मद रफी, किशोर कुमार, मुकेश के गाने गुनगुनाते रहते थे। टंडन बताते हैं कि कॉलेज के समय में हम लोग थोड़ी बहुत शरारत भी करते थे। रवि सीधा था। इसलिए उसे ही उस दौर के प्रोफेसर के गुस्से का भी शिकार होना पड़ता था।
